We’re proud to say our Open Calls are not for profit with all proceeds, going straight back into our Public Programme here at The Photobook Cafe. Keeping our Archive free and open to all and allowing us to support local creatives.
EVENT TIMES
Exhibition Opening and Publication Launch: February 12, 18:00-22:00
This event will be open to the public, we encourage all visitors to RSVP
GENERAL GUIDELINES
You can submit 2 images per entry, if you're submitting a series please note that only 1 image may be selected
Entry fee is £25, non- refundable, if selected there are no additional costs
The Photograph must suit the theme: Love
Analogue and Digital Photographs accepted
Images can be taken anywhere in the world
Works containing discriminative content will not be accepted
Deadline February 7th 2025 midnight
EVENT/ EXHIBITION INFORMATION
PBC team will solely curate, install and deinstall the Exhibition, design, print and bind all publications.
PBC takes no commission on print sales.
All exhibition prints will be printed by Rapid Eye Darkrooms of varying sizes on digital C-Type Matte Paper.
PRIZES
All submissions will be screened on the evening of February 12th on our onsite screen
All submissions have a chance to be featured on The Photobook Cafe & Rapid Eye social media
All submissions are included within a digital Love publication, with all artists receiving a free download
Final selected artists will be included within a group publication and exhibition + a free copy on the night + free C Type Print
Best in show artist awarded a £250 Rapid Eye Gift Voucher for select services and products.
Best in show artist awarded a 50% voucher off The Photobook Cafe Gallery Hire Fees.
